DSD is a company of the Altran Group, founded in 2001. DSD offers consultancy, engineering and prototyping services for advanced technologies - assisting clients in areas where they need specialist skills or additional engineering capacity. With a staff of 35 skilled professionals, DSD is currently developing solutions for clients in the private and public sectors, including the improvement of road safety plans and the implementation of safety-orientated traffic enforcement systems. In the SUNflower+6 project DSD will realise the analysis tasks for the Spanish site benefiting from data facilitated by both the DGT-Dirección General de Tráfico and SCT–Servei Català de Tránsit, respectively the executive organisation for traffic management in the interurban roads and highways for Spain (excluding the autonomous regions of the Basque Country and Catalonia) and Catalonia. DSD’s participation in SUNflower+6 aims to help the Spanish national and regional administrations to better position their Road Safety Plans through benchmarking key actions with the SUNflower+ countries.
