The aim of the SUNflower+6 project will be not only to describe the safety situation in a country, but also to identify the actions that could be taken to improve it, and their potential effect on casualty reduction. The analysis will bring together all the information used to define the current traffic safety situation in the nine countries, and to explain past trends. It also aims to build on the ideas described in Appendix B of the first SUNflower report 'Some considerations on the effectiveness of road safety improvements in the future'. The overall report will summarize the findings of the four projects: SUN extended, Southern countries, Eastern countries and footprint for the nine countries.
