The workplan has been divided into four tasks, that are carried out in an integrated way, building on the experiences of the SUNflower-study:

1. An extended study on a road safety comparison of the SUN countries
2. A similar comparison between three Southern European countries/regions: Greece, Portugal and Catalonia
3. A similar comparison between three Central European countries: Czech republic, Hungary and Slovenia
4. Development of a 'footprint' methodology for the safety performance of the 9 countries

The project is finished in December 2005.
